- 05:30 – 06:00 | Morning Departure: We begin with an early pick-up in Almaty, getting a head start on our full day of adventure.
- On the Road | Morning Pit Stop: A quick, convenient break to grab tea or coffee, stretch your legs, and use the restroom.
- Stop 1 | Charyn Canyon (“Valley of the Castles”): Arrive at our first major landmark. Enjoy a breathtaking walk along the canyon’s upper rim, making your way to the spectacular main panoramic viewpoint.
- Stop 2 | Moon (Yellow) Canyon: Take a dedicated photo break at the viewing platform to marvel at the distinct, golden-hued “lunar” landscape.
- Stop 3 | Black Canyon: Stand at the edge of this dramatic gorge and gaze down into the dizzying, dark depths carved by the Charyn River.
- Mid-Day | Authentic Lunch: Arrive at the remote and welcoming Saty village to rest and refuel with a delicious, traditional meal at a local guesthouse.
- Stop 4 | Kolsai Lake (Lower Lake): A short transfer from the village brings you to the alpine beauty of the first Kolsai Lake. Enjoy a scenic hike down to the water’s edge to take in the mirror-like reflections.
- Stop 5 | Kaindy Lake (“Sunken Forest”): Transfer to the Kaindy Lake parking area. From there, choose to hike or take an optional horseback ride through the vibrant forest to the main viewing spot of this surreal, submerged forest.
